'Brass Valley: Made in America' Exhibit
IMTI Installs Solar Panel System

Marcel Veronneau, founder of Energy Systems Sales & Training (ESST) and IMTI, The Industrial Management Training Institute, both in Waterbury, Conn., has partnered with Motech Industries, Inc. and Motech Inverters of Taiwan, to install 174 solar panels on the roof of the IMTI school building in Waterbury. The rooftop solar photovoltaic system will produce enough energy to power nine residential homes.
Local Senators support Firefighter Fundraiser
State Senator Joseph J. Crisco, Jr. (D-Woodbridge) and Joan V. Hartley (D-Waterbury), Senate chair of the legislature’s Public Safety and Security Committee, today urged Governor Dannel P. Malloy to sign a bill to allow special event permits for fundraising ‘boot drives’ held by the firefighters statewide. The bill received unanimous Senate approval last week after it cleared the House on May 15.

Ms. Anna Guay has been named Valedictorian and Ms. Candace Smith, Salutatorian of the Class of 2013 at Sacred Heart High School, according to Mrs. Eileen Regan, President.

The Mattatuck Museum invites Connecticut residents to discover - and rediscover - their exciting art and history collection on Saturday, June 8, 2013 during the 9th Annual Open House Day. The Mattatuck Museum will offer free admission for everyone, with docent-led tours for both adults and families throughout the day.

Palace Theater's 2013-14 Broadway Series
Theatergoers better get ready to rock because the Palace Theater’s 2013-2014 Webster Bank Broadway Series is paying tribute to some of the most iconic songs and biggest names in Rock and Roll history.

The season-long music fest kicks-off in October (9-13) with eight performances of Jersey Boys, the Tony Award-winning blockbuster musical about the rise of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
