Auditions for Summer's Vintage Shakespeare
Shakesperience Productions, Inc. will hold auditions for its upcoming Vintage Shakesperience Summer Tour and its 2012-13 Season . The summer tour will include William Shakespeare’s Richard III and is open to professional actors 21 and older (who will be paid and under contract) and community actors ages 10-Adult. All productions are directed by Artistic Director, Emily Mattina.
Festival! Stratford Returns with A Midsummer Night’s Dream
“The course of true love never did run smooth.” But professional companies, community theatre, regional artists, musicians and many more are working together to make it so, as Festival! Stratford returns for a 6th year August 11-14 and 18-21. The 11 day festival will be held rain or shine on the grounds of The American Shakespeare Festival Theatre at 1850 Elm Street in Stratford.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Miranda Vineyard in Goshen
A Midsummer Night's Dream will be presented at Miranda Vineyard in Goshen, Connecticut on July 16. Directed by Artistic Director Emily Mattina, this high-speed classical comedy is part of Shakesperience Productions, Inc. Summer Tour: Vintage Shakesperience. The cast consists of professional actors, community actors as well as two students local to Goshen who will perform cameo roles as part of Titania’s fairy troupe. The performance starts at 4 pm on July 16th (rain date July 17th). Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for students and $30 for a family of four.

Shakesperience Productions, Inc. presents its Summer Tour, Vintage Shakesperience, beginning with the annual Shakespeare in Library Park. All productions on the tour are directed by Artistic Director, Emily Mattina.
A Midsummer Night's Dream will be presented on June 23-26 in Library Park located at 373 Grand Street, behind the Silas Bronson Library in Downtown Waterbury. Free parking is available at the Silas Bronson lot, in the Buckingham Ramp Garage, and on Meadow and Grand Streets. Thursday evening performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream will begin at 7pm, Friday and Saturday at 8pm, and on Sunday at 2pm. There will also be a matinee performance of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book on Saturday, June 25 at 10:30am. Picnicking will begin a half hour before the performances and a $15 donation is encouraged and welcomed.
