From world travelers to avid sports fans, the Palace Theater’s sixth annual raffle has something off of everyone’s personal wish list.
Julia Murney, who plays Elphaba on the Broadway show "Wicked", belted out Defying Gravity on the stage of the Palace Theater in downtown Waterbury last night during a benefit concert for Sandy Hook. Murney was one of several dozen stars to participate in "From Broadway With Love - A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook". The entire first level of the theater was filled with people directly impacted by last month's tragedy; families who lost children or loved ones, and first responders. The Greater Waterbury 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness will welcome director, Tom Shadyac, and his film "I AM" at 6:30 p.m. Friday, February 22, to the Palace Theater, 100 East Main St. for a free showing to the community. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Now, audiences can relive the magic of Frank, Sammy, Dino, and Joey when Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show brings vintage Vegas to the Palace Theater in Waterbury for one night only on Friday, February 8, at 8p.m.
Main Street Waterbury has announced the 2012 winners of its Seventh Annual Downtown Holiday Window Decoration Contest. Judging for the windows occurred on Monday December 17th. There were 17 entrants this year and windows were judged in the following categories: Best Overall Window, Best Design, Most Creative, and Best Visual Impact. In addition, there were first and second runner-ups selected in alMl categories and a special recognition. The results are as follows:
