A special hour-long version of “From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook,” which took place at Palace Theater in Waterbury, on January 28, will air on public television stations CPTV and WNET/13 on Friday, July 26, at 10 p.m.
Theatergoers better get ready to rock because the Palace Theater’s 2013-2014 Webster Bank Broadway Series is paying tribute to some of the most iconic songs and biggest names in Rock and Roll history.
The season-long music fest kicks-off in October (9-13) with eight performances of Jersey Boys, the Tony Award-winning blockbuster musical about the rise of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
Rev your engines and get ready to hit the road for the Palace Theater’s Second Annual Motorcycle Ride on Saturday, April 27, at 11a.m. A portion of the proceeds from the rain or shine event will benefit the Children’s Ticket and Travel Fund, which provides underprivileged children with access to live theater.
From funk bands to film festivals, the Palace Theater’s April line-up has something for audiences of all ages. Tickets and gift certificates can be purchased by phone at 203-346-2000, online at www.palacetheaterct.org, or in person at the box office, 100 East Main Street in Waterbury.
