DEAL$ ON MAIN

Main Street Waterbury announces a new initiative for Downtown Waterbury merchants and businesses as it introduces a weekly sidewalk sale entitled DEAL$ ON MAIN. In an effort to stimulate more foot traffic downtown during the summer months, the downtown revitalization organization is encouraging retail merchants to set up a table with some of their merchandise on the sidewalk directly in front of their stores.

Waterbury Plunges Into "Cool Waters"

   The city unveiled a 900-square-foot mosaic, designed by artists Bruce and Joanne Hunter and assembled by hundreds of volunteers, during a block party celebration last night hosted by Mayor Neil O'Leary.
