Mon, 06/04/2012 - 20:23

New Haven Mayor John DeStefano, left, met with Waterbury Mayor Neil O'Leary at the PAL Center on Division Street Monday to discuss the astounding success of the PAL program in the city. In the past decade, under the leadership of then Waterbury Police Chief Neil O'Leary, PAL swelled from 80 kids to more than 3500. Photograph courtesy of Mayor O'Leary's Facebook page.
