Can This Really Be Waterbury On March 12th? Yep.

Tue, 03/13/2012 - 19:03

A year ago much of Connecticut was still buried beneath three feet of snow. This year we've hardly had any snow, and the region is experiencing absurdly mild weather. This afternoon the temperature reached 70 degrees, and the basketball courts at Waterville Park in Waterbury were a bee-hive of activity. Wednesday is projected to be slightly cooler, but temperatures are forecast to remain in the 60s all week long. Photograph by John Murray
