Tricia Guiry is the new executive director of the Jane Doe No More Foundation

   A local non-profit foundation attempting to improve the way society responds to victims of sexual assault has hired Tricia Guiry to lead its efforts to grow to regional and national importance. Jane Doe No More was founded by local resident, Donna Palomba, is response to a sexual assault that happened to her in the Overlook neighborhood in Waterbury in September 1993. The incident drew international attention when the case was featured in a tw0-hour NBC Dateline special.

   Before joining Jane Doe No More, Tricia Guiry served as Senior Director of Operations at Ann’s Place in Danbury, CT, a non-profit organization providing support for people with cancer. Tricia also has an extensive background in the for-profit world having worked in pharmaceutical sales and management for many years where she traveled the country recruiting, hiring and training teams.

   “I am thrilled to have Tricia on board, " Donna Palomba said. "Tricia’s diverse background, business acumen, fundraising expertise and outstanding people skills made her a stand-out in the search process. I look forward to working hand-in-glove with Tricia and our team to move the mission of Jane Doe No More forward.”
