Wed, 08/31/2011 - 11:37

Main Street Waterbury presents the Sixth Annual Brass City Brew Fest on Saturday September 10, 2011 from 1-5PM. Featuring one of the largest selections of micro brewed and craft beers for sampling in New England. With Beer 101 seminars, the famous Belgian Tent, great area restaurants, local and regional bands, t-shirts and related beer souvenirs for sale, tasting surveys, and more. Once again this year there will be a Very Intimate Preview (VIP) tasting session from 12-1PM.  A new addition to this year’s event will be a Craft Brewers Showcase that will feature beers from up to a dozen regional brewers.

The event is presented by and for the benefit of Main Street Waterbury, hosted by Mountview Plaza Wines and Liquors and Nutmeg Fine Wines and Spirits, with support from the Waterbury Development Corporation, the Western Connecticut Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Waterbury Regional Chamber of Commerce, Waterbury Police Department and the Department of Parks and Recreation, City of Waterbury.
