New Opportunities, Inc. Hosts 26th Annual Scholarship Reception, July 21st

   New Opportunities, Inc. will host their 26th Annual Scholarship Reception on Thursday, July 21st.  The event honors the recipients of the Afro-Latin-Indian Scholarship Competition, Patricia H. Mayfield Memorial Scholarship and NOI Employee Scholarship. The cocktail reception will take place in the Auditorium and Courtyard on 232 North Elm Street in Waterbury from 7pm- 10pm. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Dame Dollar with catering by Lindley Food Service Corporation.  Since 1985, New Opportunities, Inc. has sponsored this scholarship opportunity for students who live in Waterbury and/or attend Waterbury schools.   More than $500,000 in scholarship aid has been awarded in the past 26 years.   Tickets for the event are $25.00 per person.
