Volunteers Needed To Build Chase Park Playscape June 23rd in Waterbury

Tue, 06/05/2012 - 09:38

A recent KaBOOM project in Chicago brought the community together.

KaBOOM! has teamed with the Connecticut Community Foundation and the American Heart Association in Waterbury to provide new playground equipment for Waterbury’s Chase Park.  KaBOOM! is a national nonprofit dedicated to saving play for America’s children.  The entire playground will be built by hundreds of volunteers on June 23, 2012.  After six hours of shoveling, hammering, painting and much more, Chase Park will be the home of a new, magical playground.

If you would like to make the dreams of our children come true and help construct a new playground, please complete the attached form. We would greatly appreciate your help. We need 100 more volunteers to make this project a success! For more information, please contact Sarah Geary at 203-597-3444 or sgeary@waterburyct.org.
