Waterbury Walk Now for Autism Speaks

Saturday, June 2 -- Library Park, downtown Waterbury - One and a half mile walk
Sign in begins at 9 am, and the Walk begins at 10 am.  Register online early!

The third Greater Waterbury Walk Now for Autism speaks is on June 2, 2012at Library Park.  Everyone who registers before the Walk will be entered into a prize drawing on Walk day so be sure to register today!  The Walk includes all surrounding towns and cities south and west of Hartford.

The Walk Route will be a 1.5 mile loop through the streets of Waterbury surrounding the park. We will have police officers on hand and the roads will be closed off during the walk to car traffic for everyone’s safety.

Frankie’s Hot Dogs will provide free hot dogs for the first 300 registered walkers at Library Park, Park Pizza, Mario’s Pizza, J.P.’s Deli for Grand Club members.  We will have snacks from Fritos Lay, Brachman, Bozzutos and water provided by Walgreens and BJ’s Wholesale. Please be advised we will not have any food accommodations for special diets. We ask that if someone in your party has a dietary restriction, please bring something for them from home. 

There will be great entertainment including Anthem singer Brianna Smail, a Chase Collegiate student, Kaylee Jamieson singer on the spectrum, Bouncy Houses provided by KENecticut Hardware, Peter Toma’s Party Troupe, face painting and balloon shaping, children activities, Heart and Soul dance group, unicyclist, East Coast Avengers Superheros, and Double Dutch by Shawn Anderson and Zumbawith Cherrie Lamb. ActJamsProductions.com will be providing the music and sound. Local Sponsors Carmody & Torrance, CL&P and Law Offices of Brian J. Mongelluzzo . Appearances byMayor O’Leary and Senator Joan Hartley, State Representative Larry Butler, andDeputy Chief Vern Riddick.
