Shakesperience Productions, Inc., the Waterbury Neighborhood Council’s 2011 Arts Organization of the Year, presents Broadway’s Annie Edgerton in View from the Edge , a downtown evening of cabaret and fun!  A consummate performer, Ms. Edgerton brings her signature combination of showmanship, professionalism, and brass to the Brass City for one night only, May 19!  Arrive at 7pm to enjoy the reception, auction, tastes and libations provided by Bacco’s Restaurant and MyBoozeBook.com, and stay to enjoy musical selections from Broadway and beyond beginning at 8pm.   In addition to lead roles in Broadway’s Mamma Mia , Ms. Edgerton continues on her “Anthem Quest,” performing the National Anthem for 13 MLB teams (and counting!)  A Jazz vocalist, singer-songwriter, and sommelier, she writes/teaches about wine as The Wine Minx, and even more information is available at www.annieedgerton.com.

In 1996, Annie Edgerton co-wrote and performed the very first Shakesperience Workshop with Emily Mattina.  Since then, she has been singing, dancing, writing, acting, playing guitar, and otherwise tearing up New   York on her way to Broadway.  Annie lighted at the Palace Theater when Mamma Mia came to town, and in the course of a weekend, performed at least three of the roles for the Broadway Tour of North America. Appearing in that show on Broadway, she played ensemble roles as well as the lead characters of Donna, Tanya, and Rosie.
