StayWell Health Care Expands OB/GYN Focus

Dr. Maria N. Achong, MC, FACOG, has joined StayWell Health Care, Inc. as an OB/GYN Physician. Dr. Achong comes to StayWell as part of a distinguished career in medicine, and Obstetrics and Gynecology, specifically. Salvation Army July 4th Community Fundraiser

For the fourth year in a row, The Salvation Army of Greater Waterbury will ring bells over the Fourth of July weekend to raise much-needed funds for community assistance programs. This year brings a new twist to the campaign: In addition to two outdoor store entrance locations—manned by volunteers—countertop kettles will be placed inside various local businesses, where drop-in donations will be accepted.

Summer Serenade: Litchfield Music Series

Beginning on Sunday, June 24 at 3 pm, the Litchfield Historical Society will launch Summer Serenades, its new outdoor concert series. The Historical Society welcomes concertgoers to take in (and dance to) the lively and historical music of local bands and songwriters and enjoy summertime refreshments. Admission for these concerts is $5 for individuals and $10 for families. All concerts take place on the Tapping Reeve House lawn, unless otherwise noted.
