Rep. Butler Hails Wtby. Housing Investments

    State Representative Larry B. Butler (D-Waterbury) welcomes the anticipated approval of funding for additional housing units across Connecticut, including Waterbury, when the State Bond Commission meets this Friday.    Rep. Butler, the House chair of the Housing Committee thanked the Governor and the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) for their work in securing a total of $30 million to create 179 additional units of supportive housing.

Museum Galleries Close for Renovations, July 3…

The Mattatuck Museum galleries will close for a two-week period beginning July 3rd for the installation of new energy-efficient cooling system for the gallery spaces.

"The goal is to complete the upgrade quickly with as little impact on our visitors as possible,” said Bob Burns, museum director “the installation of a new conservation friendly HVAC system will help to improve the environment and protect the artwork.”
